  • Directly sourced from small family farms around Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao and some parts of Lanao and Zamboanga; 
  • Never been fed antibiotics and has never been given synthetic growth hormones; and
  • Tamed by small farmers and have been treated humanely 

We assure you that our Grass-Fed Beef has excellent flavor, and is very lean. Your beef has twice the shelf life of imported beef in the local wholesale market. When prepared with soups or casseroles, you will see the lean quality of the beef, as your soups/casseroles never get greasy or oily.     It could be a healthier choice but the cuts were just bad and uneven which made it hard to cook. The meat is not marbled and is very hard and chewy. Sorry this is my honest opinion. We were quite disappointed as it didn't look and taste anything like rib eye steak. We ended up slow cooking and shredding it to be added to pasta. If you like steak, don't expect this to be the juicy rib eye you are looking for. The other meats we purchased were good though (which I am about to review after I submit this.) overall shopping experience is excellent, it's just this specific meat cut that my family and I didn't like.

    It can be tough compared to the usual grain fed beef. The trick is to marinate it at least for 24 hours. I marinated it with olive oil, lemon & garlic. Only add salt & pepper prior to cooking. And then you have to cook it rare to medium rare as it gets easily overcook. No "sebo". Delicious meat. And you get like 5-6 big chunks of meat compared to eating out and you only get 1 slice for 600php.
